Homological Properties of Quantized Coordinate Rings of Semisimple Groups

چکیده
We prove that the generic quantized coordinate ringOq(G) is Auslander-regular, Cohen-Macaulay, and catenary for every connected semisimple Lie group G. This answers questions raised by Brown, Lenagan, and the first author. We also prove that under certain hypotheses concerning the existence of normal elements, a noetherian Hopf algebra is Auslander-Gorenstein and Cohen-Macaulay. This provides a new set of positive cases for a question of Brown and the first author.

9 Prime Spectra of Quantized Coordinate Rings
This paper is partly a report on current knowledge concerning the structure of (generic) quantized coordinate rings and their prime spectra, and partly propaganda in support of the conjecture that since these algebras share many common properties, there must be a common basis on which to treat them. The first part of the paper is expository. We survey a number of classes of quantized coordinate...

متن کاملSome homological properties of amalgamated duplication of a ring along an ideal
In this work, we investigate the transfer of some homological properties from a ring $R$ to its amalgamated duplication along some ideal $I$ of $R$ $Rbowtie I$, and then generate new and original families of rings with these properties.
متن کاملPrime and Primitive Ideals of a Class of Iterated Skew Polynomial Rings
Hodges and Levasseur described the primitive spectra of quantized coordinate rings of SL3 [14], and then of SLn [15]. These results established a close connection between primitive ideals, torus action, and Poisson geometry. The proofs relied on explicit computations involving generators and relations. Subsequently, Joseph generalized the Hodges–Levasseur program to semisimple algebraic quantum...
متن کاملQuantised coordinate rings of semisimple groups are unique factorisation domains
We show that the quantum coordinate ring of a semisimple group is a unique factorisation domain in the sense of Chatters and Jordan in the case where the deformation parameter q is a transcendental element.
